Information - School visits

How do we arrange school visits?

Schools visits to Vajrapani Centre gives students an all encompassing experience of Buddhism and Buddhist way of life that can never be found in a text book. They will have a taste of meditation in the Gompa (meditation room), an explanation of the ordained robes and the main daily Buddhist practices will be explained. There will be an opportunity also to ask questions and have refreshments.

We cater for any age/ year group. The maximum group size at any one time is 30, so often school arrange more than one session (each session 1-2 hours). The cost of most trips can be subsidised by Kirklees Interfaith (call: 01484 540225) otherwise an arrangement can be made with Vajrapani Centre. If you are interested in organising a school trip please contact the centre by email or telephone.

Alternatively contact the Kirklees Interfaith project and call or book through their website.
